Careers in information technology deal with the design, creation, management and maintenance of the varied components of the system, including software, hardware, networks, systems integration and multimedia. At Baptist Health, our IT Department includes several primary areas: network systems, information support and services, programming and software development,  telecommunication, and Epic. 

Epic Careers

Baptist Health utilizes an electronic health record system called Epic. This system supports patient care by providing and recording treatment plans, order sets, and medications. Epic also facilitates the correct treatment being provided by alerting healthcare providers to the patient treatment plan and changes in a patient's condition.

Since implementing Epic at all its Kentucky locations, Baptist Health has successfully exchanged more than 4 million health records with organizations spanning all 50 states.
