Ground Rules For Visiting Media
If you need a resource for a health-related news or feature story, contact the Baptist Health Marketing and Public Relations department at your closest Baptist Health hospital. The Marketing & PR team will get in touch with the appropriate person or persons and arrange for an interview, photo opportunity or other request.
Other Baptist Health staff will refer any media calls they receive to Marketing & PR, so calling the team directly will save time.
For a complete list of media contacts for Baptist Health system and for each Baptist Health hospital: Media Contacts - Baptist Health. Contact information may vary after hours and on weekends, as noted in the media contact listings.
News releases are sent out regularly to national, state, and local media outlets. Call if you, or a specific reporter, would like to receive news releases directly via email.
On-campus escort
All media representatives must be escorted by a Marketing & PR representative while in our hospitals, and most other patient care facilities, to help ensure the privacy of our staff and patients. Having an escort also helps reporters and photographers get to where they are going much more quickly.
The hospital’s Security staff is advised of each anticipated media visit. If the Security department is not informed of your visit, delays could be experienced as those without a Marketing & PR escort will be asked to wait until a proper escort can arrive.
