Medication Assisted Treatment Programs for Substance Use Disorder
We're Here with the Care You Need
Successful substance abuse treatment requires a medical provider with both experience and compassion – a true ally in the fight against what can be a devastating disease. Individuals struggling with drug or alcohol addiction have that ally in Baptist Health.
Substance use disorders – which can be mild, moderate or severe – occur when a person’s recurrent use of alcohol, and/or drugs causes health problems, disability, or failure to meet major responsibilities at work, school or home. Someone with a substance use disorder exhibits impaired control, problems with social interactions and risky behaviors, among other symptoms.
Baptist Health offers a variety of substance abuse treatment programs. These programs include personalized treatment to meet individual needs, but all focus on helping patients regain sobriety in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
