Chronic Pain Management in La Grange, KY

The pain management clinic at Baptist Health La Grange is a way for us to provide the community with resources for pain relief.

The pain was in my lower back and on the right side and would come around to the front of my leg. I would have to sit down and stop whatever I would be doing because of the weakness.

Lots of patients have chronic pain. They suffer from chronic pain daily. We provide ways of managing that, whether it be referrals to physical therapy or we may talk about medication management. We do lots of nonopioid medications. We also offer lots of procedures that can be for neck pain, back pain, joint pain, shoulders or knees. I offer injections for those areas. We offer nerve blocks. We offer ablation and even spinal cord stimulator therapy.

The injections - I got relief from them at first. We pretty much knew it would come back and we would have to have more injections in order to do the ablation.

Ms. Armes was suffering from significant back pain. She has several issues in her spine. We've actually had to treat her with multiple different procedures. We're slowly getting her to a place where she's more functional, enjoying her life more and not focusing so much on her chronic pain.

I feel better, and I'm able to do things, just everyday things of life. I wish I had done it earlier.
