Baptist Health La Grange to launch new foundation
(LA GRANGE, KY) March 7, 2025 —Baptist Health La Grange will launch a new foundation, Baptist Health Foundation Oldham, beginning this summer to focus on raising funds to support the needs of the hospital and Baptist Health’s future growth in Crestwood.
“Much like Baptist Health believes in community-based healthcare, our philanthropy efforts follow that same philosophy,” said Baptist Health La Grange President Clint Kaho. “Through the establishment of Baptist Health Foundation Oldham, fundraising efforts will have a direct impact on healthcare advancements within Oldham County.”
“Philanthropy is vital to continued growth and innovation in healthcare and the establishment of this foundation to support Baptist Health La Grange and the new Baptist Health hospital planned in Crestwood will enable us to foster deeper, meaningful connections in this community,” said Baptist Health La Grange board member Jonathan Westbrook.
Previously, donations to support Baptist Health La Grange were managed through the Baptist Health Greater Louisville Foundation, which will still support the needs of Baptist Health Louisville.
Baptist Health announced plans in 2022 to open a new healthcare facility in Crestwood and will host a series of listening sessions this spring to help envision the future and ensure the needs of the community are reflected in both Oldham County campuses (Crestwood and La Grange). The establishment of the new foundation will play a vital role in garnering philanthropic investment to support the healthcare facilities, their patients and their caregivers.
Austin Dupré has been named as the director of Philanthropy for Baptist Health Foundation Oldham. Dupré has previously served as a philanthropy officer with Baptist Health Foundation Greater Louisville, with a primary focus on serving La Grange.
“I am honored to serve our community through this role,” said Dupré. “This is an exciting opportunity to transform the lives and wellbeing of our community through the advancement of healthcare.”
