Medicaid and Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program (KCHIP)

Medicaid and Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program (KCHIP) are state insurance programs for low-income individuals and families.

An application for Medicaid or KCHIP may be filed at your local Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) Office. If you cannot come to the office and apply, you may call the DCBS office in the county where you live and other arrangements may be made.
