Baptist Health provides a wealth of resources and support for people who require inpatient or outpatient procedures or surgeries. Our goal at Baptist is to make your time with us feel as comfortable as possible by answering all your questions and concerns and by providing you with needed resources and support. It is completely normal to feel a little anxious prior to having a procedure or surgery, and we want to make sure that we provide a space where all questions and concerns are welcome.

Prior to any urological procedure or surgery, your doctor will speak with you about any preparation requirements, what to expect during the procedure, and what to expect after the procedure. If there are any pre-procedure or post-procedure instructions, your doctor will discuss this with you, and will typically give you instructions in written form. Please come prepared with any questions you may have and follow up with your doctor if you have any questions following your visits.
