Baptist Health Medical Group welcomes Luke Beggs, MD
PADUCAH, KY (October 3, 2024) – Baptist Health Medical Group Sports Medicine is proud to welcome Luke Beggs, MD, to their team.
Dr. Beggs specializes in nonoperative orthopedics and sports medicine needs involving conditions of the musculoskeletal system, joint function and care, sports injuries, traumatic injuries, degenerative diseases and more. He has further training in steroid, gel, trigger point and ultrasound-guided injections, as well as the use of orthobiologics such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and furthered his training through residency and fellowship positions. Dr. Beggs completed his residency in Family Medicine through the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, NC, followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN. He also earned his PhD in applied physiology & kinesiology from the University of Florida.
He is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
