Baptist Health Medical Group welcomes Kalista Hughes, MD, to Bardstown practice
ELIZABETHTOWN, KY. (Aug. 30, 2024) – Kalista Hughes, MD, has joined Baptist Health Medical Group Family Medicine in Elizabethtown to offer care for you and your family for life. Her services include everything from well visits and disease prevention to health maintenance and care for urgent conditions. Among Dr. Hughes’ special interests are autoimmune disease, electrolyte disturbance and treatment; chronic kidney disease; and non-surgical treatment and prevention of kidney stones.
Dr. Hughes received her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine residency followed by a nephrology fellowship at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. Hughes has experience managing patients with a wide range of medical conditions in both hospital inpatient and outpatient settings.
Dr. Hughes is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association, Kentucky Medical Association, and the Greater Louisville Medical Society.
Dr. Hughes is accepting new patients. She will be practicing at Baptist Health Medical Group Family Medicine, located at 3615 E. John Rowan Blvd. in Bardstown.
