ELIZABETHTOWN, KY. (July 1, 2024) Utsab Raj Panta, MD, has joined Baptist Health Medical Group Cardiology has joined the Baptist Health Cardiology team to offer compassionate, patient-centered care. His services include comprehensive treatment for cardiovascular disorders, treatment and preventive care for coronary artery disease, and cardiac and peripheral interventions. Dr. Panta has a special interest in interventional cardiology, structural cardiology, and high-risk percutaneous coronary intervention.

 

Dr. Panta earned his medical degree from the Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine in Kathmandu, Nepal. After medical school, he completed a residency in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University. Dr. Panta received fellowship training in general cardiology at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia, followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

 

He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians , American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Heart Rhythm Society, and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention.

 

Dr. Panta is accepting new patients. He will be practicing at Baptist Health Medical Group Cardiology at 1324 Woodland Dr., Suite A and 325 W. Dixie Ave. in Elizabethtown.
