Baptist Health Hardin reminds of COVID-19 testing sites

Two locations available in Elizabethtown.

Elizabethtown, KY (Oct. 19 2021) – With the cooler temps and shorter days of the changing seasons, many social gatherings will move indoors. Baptist Health Hardin is reminding the community that COVID-19 is still a concern in the community.

If you are not experiencing symptoms but think you may have been exposed to COVID-19 – or if you need to fulfill a testing requirement for work or school, visit one of the testing sites below.

Hours and requirements are different for each of these sites.

  • Baptist Health Hardin COVID-19 Testing Site*

    Hours: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m.-noon

  • Bluewater Diagnostics Laboratory COVID-19 Testing Site**, offered in partnership with Baptist Health Hardin and Lincoln Trail District Health Department
    Towne Mall (in the former Sears location)
    1704 N Dixie Hwy.

    Hours: Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
    **A doctor’s order is not required at this site. Appointments are not necessary, but pre-registration is encouraged to reduce wait times when you arrive. To pre-register, call               833.318.1757.

  • If you are experiencing only mild symptoms and would like to be seen by a provider, consider a Baptist Health Urgent Care Video Visit for care at your convenience.   • Testing is also available at local pharmacies like Walgreens, CVS and Walgreens, among others. Contact the location directly for more information.

By getting your test at a COVID-19 testing center, you spend less time waiting and free up valuable space and time for patients who need lifesaving and immediate care. Please visit the hospital Emergency Department when you need immediate medical attention.

Remember, the best way to stop the spread of COVID-19 is to following safety protocols like hand washing, masking and social distancing, but most importantly, by getting your COVID-19 vaccination.
