Baptist Health has outpatient physical therapy locations in Kentucky and Indiana.
Specialized Physical Therapy Services
The Baptist Health Therapy team offers a multidisciplinary approach to helping patients recover from stroke, head injury, amputation, multiple trauma, and other disabling conditions at the outpatient therapy clinic. Each patient will receive a comprehensive evaluation, followed by an individual treatment program based on their needs. We provide one-on-one care during each session, setting goals and achieving them together.
OUR TEAM

Physical therapists: help patients improve strength, coordination, and balance to improve mobility and quality of life.

Occupational therapists: help patients develop strength and fine motor coordination needed to perform activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and homemaking.

Speech language pathologists: help patients with communication and thinking skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, memory, attention and reasoning, and treat voice disorders and difficulty swallowing. Tests offered include:
- Laryngeal videoendoscopy/stroboscopy for voice evaluation.
- Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES).
- McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program for swallowing.
Our therapists have extensive experience and knowledge in the treatment of neurological conditions, providing a variety of advanced therapy services, including:
- LSVT BIG® and LOUD® certified programs for Parkinson’s disease.
- Bioness® upper/lower extremity neuromuscular re-education.
- Vestibular rehabilitation and treatment for vertigo.
- Certified hand therapy.
- Custom-fabricated upper extremity splinting.
- Amputee clinic for fitting and training with prosthetic devices.
- Wheelchair evaluation and fitting.

A physician referral is required for outpatient therapy services. Check with your health insurance provider to determine coverage and out-of-pocket costs. Most major medical/government insurances are accepted.
