What to Expect on Your First Visit
Your first visit to our Physical Therapy clinic will begin with a comprehensive evaluation by one of our licensed physical therapists. They will review your medical history, discuss your current symptoms or condition, and perform an examination to assess your strength, range of motion, posture, and functional mobility.
Based on their findings, your therapist will develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals. They will explain the recommended therapies, which may include exercises, manual techniques, modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, and provide education on body mechanics, posture, and activities to perform at home.
Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement during your evaluation and treatment. Your first visit typically lasts 60-90 minutes. We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork.
