Recipe: Rosemary Chicken Strips
Kids are right about at least one thing: Chicken fingers rock. But the breading and frying isn’t great for anyone trying to eat healthfully. Try these rosemary chicken strips instead, for a still-delicious but more grown-up flavor. Pair with a vegetable or toss over salad or pasta.
Rosemary Chicken Strips
Servings: 8
½ cup reduced-calorie Italian salad dressing
¼ cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
¼ teaspoon pepper
8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut in strips
Preparation:
- In bowl, mix Italian dressing, lemon juice, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary and pepper.
- Pour over chicken strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Place strips in a broiler pan and pour marinade on top.
- Broil 10 minutes on each side or until done. Baste with marinade while cooking.
