Learn MoreWe’re pleased to announce that Baptist Health has launched a new tool to communicate with you, our valued patient, in providing accurate information and answers to your COVID-19 questions – when it’s convenient to you.
This easy-to-use tool gives you 24/7 access to the resources you need to manage your health and make informed decisions regarding your care. From providing answers to common COVID-19 questions to assessing symptoms and providing next steps for treatment, the Baptist Health COVID-19 Chatbot provides quick and user-friendly access to the information you need when time is of the essence.
The chatbot will be integrated into Baptist Health’s website providing real-time, personalized care recommendations to current and new Baptist Health patients alike. Visitors will be able to complete an online symptom assessment by answering a series of questions regarding medical history and current symptoms. The chatbot will then make a personalized COVID-19 risk assessment based on the information received and recommend the next steps for care.
Benefits and Key Features:
At Baptist Health, we are continually seeking innovative and effective ways to meet patients where they are. “This is one of the many creative methods we’re employing to improve the patient experience — especially during these unprecedented times with changing information,” said Jody Prather, MD, who leads the marketing and strategic initiatives at Baptist Health.
This platform allows you to not only care for your family by assessing symptoms* but provides the latest information along with the ability to contact your provider and find an evaluation site near you — all at your fingertips in one convenient location.
Baptist Health is committed to providing more personalized care as the health journey is digitized with advancements in communication. “We have a responsibility to you, our patient, to empower you as you play an active role in your health, along with your families,” said Dr. Prather.
During these times of increased stress and the need to seek information, we recognize this need to provide this crucial tool. Now more than ever, we are working together to improve the outcomes and patient access, as we unlock new possibilities. To get started, visit BaptistHealth.com.
*While this tool does not provide a medical diagnosis, it can be helpful in figuring out the best course of action to treat your symptoms. Always consult a medical professional for acute symptoms and emergency care.
