Laura Royse Cone named Heart Failure Nurse Navigator for Baptist Health Paducah

Cone has over 10 years of experience working in the intensive care and cardiac care units.

(Paducah, Ky.)  March 30, 2022 — Laura Royse Cone, RN, was recently named heart failure nurse navigator for Baptist Health Paducah.

Cone received her degree in nursing from Midway College of Nursing in Midway, KY. Cone has over 10 years of experience working in the intensive care and cardiac care units at Baptist Health Lexington and Baptist Health Paducah. Most recently, she worked with Baptist Health Medical Group Cardiology in Paducah.

As a heart failure nurse navigator, Cone will be a resource to the healthcare team through one-on-one heart failure education with patients or significant others, and will assist in the identification of services unique to each patient’s needs for a smooth transition from hospital to home.
