Baptist Health Paducah names Shannon Livingston as Director of Philanthropy
Livingston will lead all philanthropic efforts
(December 15, 2022) Paducah, KY - Baptist Health Paducah is pleased to announce Shannon Livingston as Director of Philanthropy for the Baptist Health Foundation Paducah.
Livingston joined Baptist Health Paducah Foundation in 2021 as the Philanthropy Officer. In this short time, she has had many successes with closing transformational and major gifts that benefit the patients of Baptist Health Paducah.
“We are thrilled Shannon has committed to this role and know she will lead and expand the services the Foundation is able to provide our hospital, patients and staff,” said Kenny Boyd, president of Baptist Health Paducah. “Shannon is no stranger to Paducah or healthcare and her background and skillsets make her a great choice to lead this foundation toward many great successes and a strong future.”
In her new role, Livingston will lead all philanthropic efforts, ensuring that donor support is aligned with the hospital’s most impactful strategic needs. She will oversee fundraising and disbursement efforts in partnership with the foundation board of directors.
Prior to coming to Baptist Health Paducah, Livingston served as the executive director at The Lakes of Paducah for six years and was a pharmaceutical representative with Takeda Pharmaceuticals for five years.
“I have a very special place in my heart for Baptist Health Paducah, as my dad was a physician here for many years,” said Livingston. “This hospital has always been a big part of our family. The foundation has played a role in all of Baptist Health Paducah’s most key advancements in recent years thanks to the generosity of this community, and I am excited to carry on such meaningful work.”
Livingston has been actively involved with many organizations in Paducah, including serving on several boards. Livingston holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Transylvania University. She has three children.
