Baptist Health Hardin expands hours for COVID-19 testing sites
Baptist Health Hardin has expanded hours for its COVID-19 testing sites at Towne Mall and at 108 Financial Drive.
Elizabethtown, KY (Dec. 30, 2021) – Baptist Health Hardin has expanded hours for its COVID-19 testing sites at Towne Mall and at 108 Financial Drive. Effective Monday, Jan. 3, both locations will have extended hours on specific days.
For testing prior to travel or for return to work or school clearances – or if you are asymptomatic –visit Bluewater Diagnostic Laboratory (Bluewater). Bluewater, in partnership with Baptist Health Hardin and the Lincoln Trail District Health Department (LTDHD), offers COVID-19 testing at Towne Mall, 1704 N. Dixie Hwy. in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, on the former Sears site.
Beginning Monday, Jan. 3, the new hours for the Bluewater testing site are Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Appointments are not necessary, but pre-registration is encouraged to reduce wait times when you arrive. You are not required to bring a doctor’s order to this site.
Participants will be administered a nasal swab to detect an active infection and results are provided in 24-48 hours upon receipt of collection. Testing is provided with no out-of-pocket costs. The uninsured will be covered by the CARES Act.

If you are symptomatic and receive a doctor’s order to test for COVID-19, your physician can schedule an appointment for you at Baptist Health Hardin’s COVID-19 testing site at 108 Financial Drive, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. If you have an order, bring it with you to the testing site. Drive-through testing is also available without an appointment.
Beginning Monday, Jan. 3, the new hours for the Financial Drive testing site are Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m-5 p.m., Tuesday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. – 12 noon.
Both testing locations will be closed Friday and Saturday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, in observance of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
