Thomas Whealton, DO, joined the Baptist Health Richmond Medical Staff and opened his practice Atlas Pain and Spine, PLLC on July 1, 2019.

RICHMOND, Ky. (July 22, 2019) – Thomas Whealton, DO, joined the Baptist Health Richmond Medical Staff and opened his practice Atlas Pain and Spine, PLLC on July 1, 2019.

Dr. Whealton earned a medical degree from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at West Virginia University in 2016 and a fellowship in pain management at the University of Cincinnati in 2017. 

Dr. Whealton is board-certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Pain Medicine. 

He is now seeing patients in his clinic located at Baptist Health Richmond, Medical Park 1, Suite 16 and performing procedures in the Surgical Services department.
