Baptist Health Paducah names LabCorp regional manager

Baptist Health Paducah has named Jena Flood, MT (ASCP), as the LabCorp TSA (technical services agreement) regional manager for the west region.

Baptist Health Paducah has named Jena Flood, MT (ASCP), as the LabCorp TSA (technical services agreement) regional manager for the west region.

In October, LabCorp® and Baptist Health announced a comprehensive laboratory collaboration with LabCorp Diagnostics providing technical services for Baptist Health’s eight hospital-based labs and access to enhanced information technology and data analytics to help improve the delivery of patient care. 

Baptist Health will retain ownership and control of a lab at each of its hospitals, and plans to work closely with LabCorp to establish a core lab that it will also own and control within Baptist Health Louisville, to streamline system-wide laboratory testing processes. The collaboration will go live in September 2019.

Flood has worked at Baptist Health Paducah since 1991 in the laboratory, most recently serving as director of the laboratory, EEG and sleep lab services.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Murray State University and is certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathologists.
